Let’s Cha Cha!

1 Hank of Trendsetter Cha Cha (hand wind yarn so as not to twist ribbon)
1 Hank of Malibrigo Worsted in a complementary color
US 10 24” circular needle
Tapestry needle for finishing
Optional 1 neat button for a little extra style if you like

My scarf is held together with my neat button and you can decide if you want this little extra touch for your scarf, knitter’s choice. If so just sew button to the Malabrigo ruffle and catch both sides and secure.

Cast on 110 stitches with the Cha Cha weaving in between each ladder carefully,

**see my instructional video if you need a little help

knit as usual by inserting the tip or your needle into one ladder and pulling through as you would a normal stitch, work until you have the number of ruffles desired then work with Malabrigo as follows:

Row 1 k1, p1, k1, all into the same stitch, continue in this manner to end of row, 330 stitches
Row 2 purl
Row 3 knit

Repeat Rows 2 & 3 until for approx 3 inches, or desired length, cast off VERY loosely, if you want to add a button see note above.

Now fluff your Cha Cha ruffle by pulling gently on both sides all the way along your scarf.

Voila you have a fun and sassy scarf to wear!
